The Durban Chemicals Cluster aims to promote industry transformation and youth development through our Skills Development and Transformation Programme. The South African Government has introduced a new youth employment B-BBEE recognition, allowing businesses that meet YES targets and comply with registration criteria to move up a level on their current B-BBEE scorecard. In addition, to encourage demand-side job creation, companies employing black youth between 18 and 29 will qualify for the Employment Tax Incentive.
