National Pollution Plan regulation compliance and process safety training workshop
27 September 2017The Durban Chemicals Cluster hosted a workshop, presented by Matthew Thornton-Dibb of Norton Rose Fulbright, on the new National Pollution Plan regulations which were published on 21 July 2017. These regulations declare greenhouse gases as priority pollutants and require companies conducting production processes to submit pollution prevention plans. This presentation was designed to better equip firms to comply with these new regulations and to provide an opportunity for engagement on compliance-related matters.
This workshop also saw a presentation from the Durban Chemicals Cluster on upcoming Process Safety Training which will be run by the cluster and will be open to all members in 2017.
