Members were offered insight into the best practices of recruitment, assessment and the talent pipeline to ensure that the best candidates enter the local chemicals industry at a Skills Development and Industry Transformation TSC Meeting. Members received more information on the DCC learnerships and the programmes roll out for 2017.

Members were informed of the DCC learnership programme and its roll out over 2017. The cluster secured funding for 30 learnerships from the Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) for members.
Cristy Leask from Symbiosis Consulting offered insight into best practices of recruitment, assessment and the talent pipeline which are crucial to ensure that the most appropriate candidates enter the local chemicals industry.
