DCC Graduate Development Programme 2018/2019 Graduation11 June 2019
Both locally and globally there is an ever-increasing need to bridge the gap between the demands of the workplace and that learned through formal education. The Durban Chemicals Cluster’s Graduate Development Programme (GDP) equips graduates with the necessary skills to tackle the demands of the chemicals manufacturing workplace.
With over 40 graduates participating in 2019, this valuable training programme has proven successful at enabling participants’ growth and development. Graduates are provided with holistic, chemicals-sector specific business skills and equipped to work as competent employees in their functional areas.
On 11 June 2019, the Cluster, facilitated by B&M Analysts, hosted the graduation of the 2018/19 GDP class at the Premier Hotel in Pinetown. Employers, managers as well as other industry members and stakeholders, were in attendance to congratulate the graduates and celebrate their achievements at the conclusion of this year-long development programme.
