DCC Crisis Communication Training10 March 2020
Recent health and environmental incidents in the chemicals sector have highlighted the need for member crisis communication training. Appropriate media and community responses are critical to mitigating direct community and firm reputational impacts.
The training event was a one-day workshop, divided into theory and practical sessions. The theory covered preparation prior to a crisis, with the practical sessions aimed at putting a crisis response situation into practice using actual video footage of communication with mock media.
The training wass pitched at Executive and Management level personnel, likely to engage with the media, as well as PR leaders.
