DCC 2020 Skills Support Showcase30 January 2020
The Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) note that the sector is a the forefront of the drive towards an ‘innovation economy’ and that the improvement of the skills of the workforce is imperative for the achievement of this. Also noted is the industrial growth potential of the sector in South and Southern Africa. Skills development must continue in order to build the competencies and capacity to unlock this potential.
The event provided a platform to gain insight into how the DCC training programmes can benefit your team and organisation and strategically plan your 2020 training calendar.
The DCC’s portfolio of skills programmes offers training solutions for different levels of an organisation. These programmes are presented in various formats, from operator to management level, covering both technical and administrative aspects of chemicals manufacturing.
The DCC welcomed HR executives and managers, together with senior industry representatives responsible for planning skills development programmes for employees, to gain critical insight into the DCC 2020 Skills Development programme and associated start and end dates, and registration details.
